Can you give the attributes of the monks? (looks like that you spread them between 4 attribute lines...)
Another question: wich build did that mesmer run? (E-surge probably...)

Monk needs divine boon imo, and Edrain instead of Word.
Plus, if you think 10 consecutive wins is some show of a builds quality, you are sorely mistaken. However, they aren't nearly as bad as some of the other trash posted here.

I've played with I Touched Prodigy (the mesmer in one of the screenshots) and he is quite good. I do not see how this monk would keep himself alive against a non-hex casting based spike team in TA (and the percentage of spike teams seems to be rising in TA). RoF spam without boon just would not cut it. Of course, there is a ranger, a mesmer, and disrupting chop in the build to disrupt their spikes. The bigger issue is the use of just one weapon set. A team with an e-denial dom mesmer makes short work of a monk that cannot hide his energy. Also, I would assume the Me/Mo was running draw, because veil+guardian+cop is too complicated to remove conditions from self.

It's a training build.
Good job with those consecutive wins.

Not sure why this thread was made, but this is a training build for "XoO Bootcamp." Consider this build a beginner's introduction to preparing to GvG. The new recruits have to win 10 TA in a row with each role (among other things) before they can move into the main GvG divisions.
The general idea is to teach people to work well together with preplanned builds in small teams to help teach them basic PvP skills and to prepare them for GvG level tactics. The builds are not intended to be metagame or even the best possible build. Each build is intended to help the person learn the basics of playing skillfully in that role. For example, the monk is designed to be less self sufficient than a regular boon prot to force the monk to rely on prekiting rather than cop and other powerful self heals. Likewise, the ranger is intended to teach the player how to interrut spikes. And so on.
Congrats on passing this phase of bootcamp, btw.
P.S. They are supposed to have switches and better runes and such, this person didn't do it correctly.

So that's why we always smoke XoO in TA.

Ye the attribs on the monk were confusing me as you had almost no energy management and your elite was a healing spell when just about everything else was prot or fav....
